PROSTHETIC NAIL AND CARE A prosthetic nail is a procedure performed on one's own nail in order to give the person a healthier and more aesthetic nail appearance. In general, there are three types of procedures: false nails, gel nails and acrylic system prosthetic nails, which are made by adding plastic nails to the tip of the existing nail. The prosthetic nail process takes approximately 1.5 hours. Normal and/or permanent nail polish can be applied on prosthetic nails with high permanence.
